Slack

Slack is where teams talk. Our Slack integration reports run results to a channel so the whole team sees what just happened and can jump to details in Testdino.

What can you see in a Slack message from Testdino?

slack
  • Overall status for the run: passed, failed, flaky, or skipped.

  • Success rate and total tests, with counts for passed, failed, flaky, and skipped.

  • Duration, environment, and the exact branch.

  • Author and the commit message.

  • A View test run button that opens the run in Testdino.

How to Setup Slack for Testdino?

  1. In Slack (opens in a new tab), enable Incoming Webhooks, add a webhook to your workspace and channel, then copy the URL.

  2. In Testdino Settings → Integrations → Slack, paste the Slack Webhook URL and Connect.

  3. Use Sync to validate. Toggle Active to pause or resume notifications. You can disconnect at any time.

Why is it useful?

  • Status lands where your team already works, minutes after a run finishes.

  • The link back to Testdino means anyone can open the run, inspect evidence, file a Jira or Linear ticket, or review Analytics and the Dashboard.

  • You can keep separate channels per project or environment to control noise.
