Settings
Project Settings lets you manage a single project’s name, keys, integrations, and environment mapping.
Every project has its own Settings tab, so changes here affect only this project.
General
The General tab is the place to keep your project info tidy and to understand your plan and usage. You can rename the project and add a short description so teammates know what this project is for.
The project ID is fixed because your CI and integrations rely on it.
Usage & Quota
The Usage & Quota panel tells you how many test case executions you can run this month and how many you have left. During beta, new workspaces start on the Free Tier, which includes 1,000 test case executions per month.
The counter resets every month on the Next Reset date, so you always know when your quota refreshes. If you just finished a run and the numbers look stale, hit Sync to refresh.
If your team requires more headroom, the Paid Tier removes the cap and gives you unlimited executions per month. Reach out to the Testdino team to switch plans. You will still see the same usage panel, just with an unlimited limit, so you can keep an eye on activity.
You can also check plan status outside Settings. On the Projects page, each card shows a small Free or Paid badge and a percent meter so you can gauge usage at a glance before you even open a project.
Get support
Need help? Use Get support in the bottom right of the General tab. Submit a quick ticket with a short title, a summary of what happened, and optional attachments. You can add up to five files, which is handy for screenshots or logs. We will reply as soon as we can.
API Keys
Manage keys used by CI and tools to send data to Testdino.
1. Actions
-
Rename – change the label to match a team or pipeline.
-
Rotate – create a new key with the same permissions. You must set a new expiry. Update CI with the new secret.
- Delete – revoke the key immediately.
2. Generate Key
Click Generate Key, enter a Key name and Expiration, then create. Use this value in your CI secrets.
Integrations
Connect Testdino to your project trackers.
1. Jira
Create issues from test case failures. Select a default project from the multiple workspaces you have connected. Once connected, you can disconnect if needed.
2. Linear
Create issues from test failures. Select a default project from the multiple workspaces you have connected.
3. Slack
Send test run alerts to a Slack channel via Incoming Webhooks.
Setup steps
-
Create or select an app, activate Incoming Webhooks.
-
Add New Webhook to Workspace, pick a channel.
-
Copy the webhook URL and paste it here.
Branch Mapping
Provides Environment Management that links branches to environments so analytics and dashboards read correctly.
1. Add Environment
New projects start empty. Create environments here as you need:
-
Add Name and Label. After both are set, you can pick a label color.
-
Description (optional).
-
The Exact Match toggle limits the environment to a single branch. Turn it off to match multiple branches via patterns.
-
Branch Patterns to include one or more branches. Wildcards are supported for flexible matching.
You can create up to 10 environments per project. Branches are unlimited.
2. Environment mapping
-
Mapping controls where test runs land in Prod/Stage/Dev charts and filters.
-
One environment can cover many branches unless Exact Match is enabled.
